Posy of Flowers

Happy Wednesday .. half the week gone .. not long till the weekend ..
so i am back today with another image from the Crafty Sentiments February release .. and this time  with something a little different .
Not everyone likes cute .. and when we have been at the shows people ask for flowers or non cute images ... so here is the Flowers stamp... which i think looks like Primulas.. perfect for spring cards.

I actually made this card for my Mum to give her after her shoulder op - a Thinking of you card

I stamped the image 3 times and after colouring i decoupaged to give some dimension...adding crystals to the centre of the flowers.

I kept the card quite simple ..making an easel card base .. a couple of embossed panels and of course my new X cut die cut heart .. a satin ribbon and circular sentiment .

Pop on over and see more flowers on the Crafty Sentiments Inspirational Blog
i would like to enter the Papertake weekly anything goes challege

Have a lovely day - thanks for popping by

what a beautiful floral card for your Mum! I'm only getting to see some of your pics - just the one flower and nothing in the post below. Not your fault I'm sure, my internet connection is so slow it doesn't load up all the pictures and sometimes I just can't leave comments at all - fingers crossed this works. I love to stop by and see what you have created, but sorry that commenting is sometimes not possible.

Oh my goodness, that is a ton of coloring on those triple layered flowers, but man o' man..does that look fantastic! Your Mom has a very thoughtful daughter ;) Hope the recovery goes well on her shoulder.

this is so pretty Lisa I love how you used the heart on an easel card - its a great layout - if I had a large heart die I might pinch this idea lol. - not sure about the papercraft show at Houghton at the end of the month - things are a bit manic here at the minute - but I'd love to have a little get together if i can hugs judith x
