Hello everyone.. well what a funny week.. what with rushing the cats to the Vets on Sunday .. then Rushing to bring my daughter home Monday .. was supposed to be on a Romantic Break Weds to Sunday .. which got cancelled .. so went to work instead lol.. in between looking after my daughter .
So its my day off today .. and Boy i am ready for it .. hopefully Trauma free lol!
Its time for a new challenge at
and this month the theme is ....
LOVE AND FLOWERS
Luckily i had made my project last Saturday before all the fun and games began!
I used a chipboard cake stand from Heckmondwike Craft and Hobby store which was only £2 ... and covered it in papers from my stash..( with little hearts on) and then i decorated the edges with a MS deep heart punched border, and decorated with little pearls and a big pink satin bow... so that's was the love part of my project..
The flowers .. well they are the little hydrangea flowers i made to top my carrot cake cupcakes .. after icing the cupcakes .. i rolled out white marzipan .. cut out the flowers and then decorated with food colouring and little silver balls.... mmm yummy!
and here is a pic of the cake stand without the cakes ..a real bargain .. and i love that you can match your cake stand to the theme of your party!, or to go with a card you are sending .
Please pop over to the Challenge blog and check out the rest of the DT makes.. they have excelled this month ... a lot of LOVE definitely has gone into their projects!
Don't forget you have a whole month to enter .. and as February is the month of love i am sure you will something to enter!
You can enter more than once as long as each time its with a different type of craft.
I would like to enter the following challenges -
The Crazy - Party Time
Crafty Ribbons - Anything goes with a ribbon
Sarah Hurley - Anythng But a Card
have a great day everyone
