What a Day!!

What a day i have had.. very emotional and traumatic .. but joyous too.

we were woken early this morning by a neighbour banging on the door.
For those that don't know - i have 2 cats and a dog .. but one of the cats -STELLA has left home and lives with a neighbour as she doesn't like Bobby the dog!

Well it was Stella's adopted Mum in a state as she said they had been up all night with her ... she wasn't well at all.. hadn't eaten or drunk anything. and was trying to be sick.

Well i dashed to the neighbours to see her ... we both had a cry .. and i bundled her up in her crate to take her to the vets.

She didn't like that at all... and was really agitated ..

Once we got to the Vets she started sneezing and coughing and i thought Oh no.. its the Cat Flu..

we were called straight into the vets and when she took her out of the crate we all say a 1/2" blade of grass sticking out of her nose... the vet pulled it .. and pulled it .. and it was 5" long!

And that was it ... Right as rain!!

she came back to my house for a couple of  hours sleep and now she is back with her adopted parents who are just as relieved as me .. what a lucky Girl!

Now all i need if for my daughter to be well as she is poorly and hasn't got her Mum to look after her .. thank goodness the cat is ok .. as that would have been a difficult phone call!

Right off to have a catch up in blogland

Have a great evening

Oh thank goodness she is well. We have had a cat for 18yrs. Another cat has adopted us! We don't no where he "really lives" although he is hardly there now. Even though Tink chases him every now and then he would rather stay here! I often wonder what his home is like as he is so timid. I woke up yesterday and he was in the middle of hubby & I with his head on the pillow lol!

Hope your daughter is soon on the mend. Hugs xx Jan
