The Quinsies!

Thanks everyone for all your good wishes for poor little Stella Yesterday ... things aren't much better today , had to go over to Blackpool this afternoon as Beth is worse and she went to the walk in centre and they told her she has Quinsies .. which is a complication of Tonsilitis...
She is struggling to drink and take the medecine .. so a visit to Aand E is likely as all info suggests surgery may be needed .

So i apologise now for not being around much .. and a Big Thanks You to everyone for your FB advice.

Oh dear Lisa!! You are having a bad time!
I hope Beth is soon feeling better though I heard that this can be really nasty..maybe a trip to the hospital will set your mind at rest, and I hope the antibiotics kick in and she doesn't need surgery.

As for Stella, the same thing happened to Bart a couple of years ago. She wasn't eating and kept sneezing and I'd seen her outside retching like she was going to throw up. When she came back inside I could something coming out of her nose so hubby grabbed her and i started to gently pull it. It was like a scene from a magicians show, you know when they pull a string of hankies from their hands? It kept coming out and coming, and coming and coming...and eventually out it all popped, a huge piece of grass and she was as right as rain afterwards but she did have a runny nose for a couple of days!

Big hugs

Sorry to hear Beth is ill, Lisa, you must have been so worried about her. At least you'll be able to keep an eye on her now she's home. I do hope she gets better very quickly. Look after yourself too.

Big hugs, Lynne xx
