Feeling perkier

Hello everyone... well.. i don't want to be presumptuous but i think i am finally turning a corner .
I feel like i have been poorly with this stinking cold forever! - well actually just over a week but its felt like an age.

I had the most horrendous migraine on Friday - ouch my head hurt .. and i couldn't even look at the screen on my phone .. but after nearly 48 hours sleep and some good tablets .. i feel  a lot better than i did .

I even made it into the craft room.. and had a little dabble.

This is one of my makes .. for a friend who has had a sad time lately .
I have had this Garden bench delight digi image printed out from Ladybug crafts Ink since well before Christmas but not coloured - and i thought it would make a lovely Thinking of You card .
I coloured it with my markers ... i say markers cos i used a mixture now of Promarkers, spectrum noirs and flexi markers .. i have lots of each lol.. so i just use them together .

The Marianne die cut  butterfly is a recent purchase from the Sir Stampalot sale - and the little glass dewdrops were from one of my Secret Santas .. i think the sentiment is Craftwork cards and the bow from my stash .
The papers as always from my stash .. and as you can see i even decorated the inside - because the lady who i am sending this to always decorates the inside of hers.. and i thought she would appreciate it .

I would like to enter the following challenges

Diva's by design- anything goes
Passion for Promarkers - Peach and blue
Try it on Tuesday - New stash

Sorry i haven't been round much this week - wont attempt to catch up.. but hope to be round a bit more this week

Gorgeous card, Lisa! Wish I could sit there. If it was in my garden at present I would get a very cold wet bum though as we had a couple of centimetres of snow. Was hoping for a bit more so I could stay at home and craft rather than go to work! Pleased to hear you are feeling better. Sleep is a very good medicine! Hope you continue to mend xxx

Hi Lisa, I'm glad to hear you're feeling better now. I'm touching lots of wood because thankfully DH and I have escaped any ailments so far, although the rest of the family have all had various bugs. Don't know how we've missed them! Your card is beautiful. I love that butterfly, and what a lovely stamp too. Your friend will love it.

I must have an anti bug bubble around me Lisa because apart from a slight cold I've not been ill in years. I've now probably jinxed that and will be bedridden by the end of the week lol. I've had this image colored up for months now (or more) and it hasn't made it onto a card yet but think that will change now (once I've found it)I've seen your fabulicious card. Love the soft colors of the pp and Mary J is right...hopefully spring is around the corner. xx
